MIDAS S2-I-SF6 | Honeywell Midas® sulfur hexafluoride ppm SF₆
MIDAS S2-I-SF6 is a Honeywell Midas® IR cartridge for sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆), range ppm SF₆, IR. It plugs into the MIDAS-T-004 extractive transmitter — not a Sensepoint XCD diffusion head. Sample line up to 30 m FEP at ~500 mL/min.

Midas is extractive: the cell sits in the tool cabinet while FEP pulls sample from the valve box. sulfur hexafluoride uses IR. Pyrolyzed species need MIDAS-T-00P / T-HTP / T-NP1 or the cartridge will not read.

Wall-mount MIDAS-T-004 on the pre-drilled chassis or DIN kit A-036, then insert MIDAS S2-I-SF6. Sample 1/8″ID×1/4″OD FEP to 30 m; exhaust 1/4″ID×3/8″OD to 30 m. End-of-line filter 0780248 or 1830-0055/0027 by gas. 24 VDC (−15%/+10%) or PoE 48 V; pyrolyzer load up to 12.95 W. 0–40 °C, 0–30 °C with pyrolyzer.
